The Global Ultra-Wealthy Are Pursuing Biological Age Reversal

Rejuvenation and longevity have been humanity's eternal dreams, immortalized in ancient legends that persist to this day. These aspirations fuel the health and beauty industries, which continue to evolve, achieving remarkable milestones and expanding further. Rejuvenation and longevity have been humanity’s eternal dreams, immortalized in ancient legends that persist to this day. These aspirations fuel the health and beauty industries, which continue to evolve, achieving remarkable milestones and expanding further. Today, the core clientele of the rejuvenation industry are the ultra-wealthy—key players who are reshaping the game entirely.

Rejuvenation and Longevity: The “Game” of the Super-Rich

Bryan Johnson, a 46-year-old American tech millionaire, has garnered attention for spending $2 million annually on an intensive anti-aging program called Project Blueprint. This program aims to reverse biological aging and extend lifespan through a strict diet, regular exercise, optimized sleep routines, and periodic blood and organ tests.

As a result, despite being 46 years old, Johnson’s biological markers reveal striking youthfulness: he has the skin of a 28-year-old, the heart of a 37-year-old, and the lung capacity of an 18-year-old.

Johnson is not an outlier in this growing trend of radical rejuvenation.

In 2023, the U.S. saw the establishment of R360, an exclusive club for individuals with a minimum net worth of $100 million. Members aim to biologically rejuvenate each part of their bodies and extend their lifespan to 120 years.

Peter Fioretti, one of R360’s founding members, decided at 58 that he wanted to live a long, healthy life. Understanding the importance of a healthy lifestyle, he began studying longevity science.

During a routine health checkup, doctors informed Fioretti that his cardiovascular health matched that of someone in their early 50s. Although encouraged, Fioretti wasn’t satisfied. Consulting with ten doctors and revamping his lifestyle, he eventually achieved a heart age equivalent to 47 at 63 years old.

After “reversing his heart’s biological age by 25 years,” Fioretti’s next goal is to live to 120. He envisions hiking and cycling, playing with his great-grandchildren, climbing mountains with his wife, and dying with full mental and physical faculties intact—a rarity as only one person has lived beyond 120 years in recorded history.

Fioretti and the 25 R360 members are united in their mission to push human lifespan limits. Their focus lies on prevention and holistic health rather than addressing issues reactively. R360 regularly collaborates with top nutritionists and trainers, leveraging science to combat aging.

Like the R360 members, the world’s wealthiest individuals are chasing keys to immortality or significantly extended lifespans.

  • Sam Altman, OpenAI’s CEO, has invested $180 million in biotechnology to delay death by 10 years.
  • Peter Thiel, the PayPal co-founder, has poured millions into rejuvenation and longevity efforts.

The Future of Rejuvenation: Emerging Technologies and Solutions

In their quest for biological age reversal, millionaires often turn to biotech companies developing stem cell therapies—one of the most popular rejuvenation methods. These therapies repair damage caused by diseases or aging. While the field holds promise, few methods have gained regulatory approval.

Stem cell therapies range from $5,000 to $50,000, depending on the type of cells and treatment location. In the U.S., treatments cost $8,000–$12,000, according to the FDA. In Mexico, patients pay $5,000–$20,000, while South Korea offers procedures between $6,000 and $19,000.

NAD+ and NMN: The Frontier of Anti-Aging

The R360 group even has a “science ambassador,” Professor David Sinclair of Harvard University, who explores the benefits of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), a molecule believed to enhance human longevity.

NMN increases levels of NAD+, a critical coenzyme that supports metabolism and cellular function. As NAD+ levels decline with age, the body’s natural anti-aging processes falter. NMN supplementation restores NAD+ levels, improving cognitive function, reducing inflammation, alleviating anxiety, and extending lifespan.

Sinclair explains that NAD+ acts as the body’s “aging gauge.” Boosting NAD+ could revolutionize anti-aging strategies. Though research is ongoing and debate persists, NAD+ supplements are already embraced by global celebrities like Joe Rogan, the Kardashians, and Hailey Bieber, who claim the product enhances their energy, youthfulness, and overall health.
