Reasons Why You Always Feel Tired, Exhausted, and Low on Energy

Despite trying to manage your life and bring it back to a stable routine, many people remain stuck in a state of fatigue, exhaustion, and prolonged low energy. You might think it’s because you aren’t eating nutritiously, sleeping enough, or exercising consistently. However, there are deeper internal causes that you cannot control.

Dr. Eric Berg from Palmer College of Chiropractic (USA) identifies seven underlying reasons for persistent fatigue, exhaustion, and severe energy depletion.

Reason 1: Adrenal Fatigue

Adrenal fatigue occurs when excessive cortisol and other stress hormones are released in the body, prioritizing glucose use to cope, leading to overload and exhaustion. To improve this condition, you can supplement with vitamin B1 and appropriate herbal remedies. More importantly, managing stress effectively—through meditation, breathing exercises, and exposure to sunlight and nature—can help significantly.

Reason 2: Poor Sleep Quality Is a Leading Cause of Fatigue

Sleep is a miraculous restorative therapy. When we don’t sleep well, learning, memory, mood, and reaction times are affected. Insomnia can cause irritability, hallucinations, and high blood pressure. Prolonged insomnia may lead to diabetes, obesity, exhaustion, or even death.

Sleep deprivation or poor-quality sleep due to stress prevents the body from recovering. Supplementing with vitamins D3 and K2 and exposure to infrared light can enhance sleep quality, improve mental health, increase energy, and support recovery.

Reason 3: Post-Viral Fatigue Syndrome

Post-viral illnesses like COVID-19 often lead to prolonged fatigue. This condition may signal vitamin deficiencies, particularly B1 and B3. These deficiencies can cause various symptoms, including fatigue and low energy, making recovery difficult without timely intervention.

After any illness or viral infection, it’s essential to replenish vital vitamins such as B and C, stay hydrated, and engage in light exercise to help restore the body to its original stable state.

Reason 4: Lyme Disease

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection transmitted through infected ticks living on deer. It triggers a strong immune response, leading to exhaustion. Natural herbs such as garlic and oregano can help the body prevent or mitigate the effects of the disease, reducing fatigue and exhaustion.

Reason 5: Insulin Resistance

Insulin resistance occurs when cells in your muscles, fat, and liver stop responding well to insulin, reducing their ability to use glucose from the blood for energy. A high-carbohydrate diet can exacerbate this condition, leaving the body sluggish and low on energy. Switching to a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting can significantly improve energy levels, alleviate fatigue, and restore vitality.

Reason 6: Low Stomach Acid

Reduced stomach acid makes it difficult for the body to absorb essential nutrients, leading to fatigue. Using apple cider vinegar and betaine hydrochloride is a safe way to boost stomach acid, improve nutrient absorption, and support a healthy, energetic body.

Reason 7: Vitamin and Mineral Deficiencies

Deficiencies in nutrients like B12, iron, potassium, and magnesium can cause fatigue. Without timely supplementation, this can lead to chronic exhaustion. Potassium- and magnesium-rich green vegetables can provide energy, help you regain your vigor, and enjoy life to the fullest.
