However, once the shared blood supply was disconnected, the organs of the younger mouse became biologically younger again. In other words, the aging process in humans could potentially be accelerated and then reversed, indicating that the potential for reversing aging is grounded in future research.

2. Methods to Reverse Aging

While significant progress has been made in research on reversing the aging process, applying these methods universally remains a major challenge for scientists. Instead, adopting a healthy lifestyle can effectively combat skin aging and other age-related changes.

2.1. Quit Smoking

The best thing you can do for your health and longevity is to quit smoking. Smoking has been identified as a cause of numerous diseases, from cardiovascular issues to respiratory disorders, all of which can negatively impact your longevity and efforts to reverse aging.

2.2. Limit Alcohol Consumption
